The End Begins?

The jobs report released yesterday showed:

• Unemployment remaining at 8.1%
• 368,000 people that "dropped out" of the labor force in the past month
• A 30 year low in the job participation rate at 63.5%
• Nearly 89 million adults not in the labor force

Yet despite all of this, Obama's poll numbers increased.

How in the world can that be?

I have read two things recently that might explain:

1. When one is robbing Peter to pay Paul, one will have the full support of Paul
2. Democracy will end once people figure out they can vote themselves money

I'm not sure where our current path will ultimately lead, but things are getting downright scary.
