He might have had a good career, but not HOF level. The Housenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2143544841266799337.post-67442935407705870972011-05-06T05:41:03.185-05:002011-05-06T05:41:03.185-05:00House-baby,

Your example above points that out clearly.

But I also think you're underestimating the Tall Cool One. While not a Nolan Ryan career, I think he's better than Bert.Yellow Dog Patrolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12215656181951223299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2143544841266799337.post-52454851227111225722011-05-05T22:07:01.521-05:002011-05-05T22:07:01.521-05:00Again, Robert Plant the solo artist is in the Rock...Again, Robert Plant the solo artist is in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame if it uses the standards of previous inductees. But, as I stated earlier, in my opinion their standards are not good enough. Just about everybody gets in.

Consider the 1999 inductee class. Billy Joel, Paul McCartney, and Bruce Springsteen. But, also, Del Shannon and Dusty Springfield.

Also, the RR Hall of Fame is an incredible disappointment as a facility. The Housenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2143544841266799337.post-88779917193391452242011-05-05T12:56:34.153-05:002011-05-05T12:56:34.153-05:00I think you could also throw Don Henley into that ...I think you could also throw Don Henley into that mix.Yellow Dog Patrolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12215656181951223299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2143544841266799337.post-40819595386556944372011-05-05T12:52:47.911-05:002011-05-05T12:52:47.911-05:00Good call on MJ and Simon; both are in as solo act...Good call on MJ and Simon; both are in as solo acts. I think Robbie and Winwood will have to settle for their inclusions via The Band and Traffic, respectively. I don't think their solo careers are robust enough to get in on their own.

Good post.Yellow Dog Patrolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12215656181951223299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2143544841266799337.post-31287267776156838102011-05-05T12:43:03.669-05:002011-05-05T12:43:03.669-05:00Michael Jackson may technically qualify.
